【摘要】:Thesetestmethodsevaluatethecompatibilitybetweencablefillingorcablefloodingcompounds,orboth,andpolyolefinmaterialsusedinthemanufactureofwireandcablethatareusuallyinintimatecontactwiththefillerorfloodant,orboth.Thesetestmethodsareusefultoensurecompatibilityandtoverifythatnewformulationsoffillingorfloodingcompoundswillhavenodeleteriouseffectupontheotherpolyolefinmaterialsbeingusedor,conversely,usethesemethodstoensurethatotherpolyolefinwireandcablematerialsareevaluatedforpossibleusenotdegradedbycontactwithfillersorfloodantsalreadyinuse.Whenevertwosetsofvaluesarepresented,indifferentunits,thevaluesinthefirstsetarethestandard,whilethoseinparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Thistestmethodisspecificallyforpolyolefincoatingsonaluminumandsteelshieldingandarmoringmaterialusedintelecommunicationswireandcables.Thistestmethodisspecificallyforpolyolefininsulatingmaterialsusedintelecommunicationswiresandcables.1.6Thistestmethodisspecificallyforpolyolefinjacketingmaterialsusedintelecommunicationswiresandcables.
