【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversprefabricatedmodifiedbituminoussheetmaterialsreinforcedwithacombinationofpolyesterfabricandglassfiber,withorwithoutgranules,thatuseatacticpolypropylene(APP)astheprimarymodifierandareintendedforuseinthefabricationofmultipleplyroofingandwaterproofingmembranes.1.2Thisspecificationisintendedasamaterialspecificationonly.Issuesregardingthesuitabilityofspecificroofconstructionsorapplicationtechniquesarebeyondthescopeofthisspecification.1.3Thespecifiedtestsandpropertylimitsusedtocharacterizethesheetmaterialscoveredbythisspecificationareintendedtoestablishminimumproperties.In-placeroofsystemdesigncriteriasuchasfireresistance,fieldstrength,impact/punctureresistance,materialcompatibility,upliftresistance,theneedforfieldappliedcoatings,andothers,arefactorsbeyondthescopeofthismaterialspecification.1.4ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
